Managing Time...
Management
activity revolves around dealing with reality based on the
people's involved substantialities e.g. that of nature applied and
used to fulfill a purpose. According to the
Management Lab, this
involves:

At
the onset of knowing: Setting and programming objectives

Knowing what can be achieved: Motivating and aligning efforts
-
In view of getting certainty: Coordinating and controlling
activities
-
Based on certainty: Developing and assigning talents
-
In uncharted areas: Accumulating and applying knowledge

In view of insecurity: Amassing and allocating resources
-
Becoming aware of uncertainty: Building and nurturing
relationships
-
To cope with know uncertainty: Balancing and fulfilling
stakeholder demands
According to the
mainstream belief of having to serve competitive advantage, people are
looking for the real source to improve the leading edge of management. As a starting
point, management gurus look at historically-successful companies
as well as current stars. Familiar names and best practices crop
up hoping to find enlightened human resource practices,
disciplined financial management, impressive customer focus and
charismatic leadership. And yet, the real importance of all these has
been so far largely
overlooked until the next hype turns up. But let us face it, most of
those quoted excellences have an increasingly short half-live-time
unless they are grounded in a substantiality, sustainable in itself such
as the laws of nature.
It not a matter of
talking about these matter in a wishful way, it is all a matter of
walking the talk about real human systems in lifefulfilling
ways for those concerned. Would you agree that providing the
scientific basis for it would be worth a Nobel Prize and much more?
Sadly enough, this endeavor entails understanding and overcoming all the
intellectual blunder with which people's mental operating systems
have been infected with unqualified so called “knowledge”. That is why
on a global scale hardly anybody is genuinely involved. But everybody,
consciously or unconsciously awaits a kind of “Applied
Personal Science”, and that is what I have created to a
degree beyond
what I can indicate here. But it does not work in a fashion of "get me
my fur washed, but without me getting wet…"; to ask for that, is the
problem!
“The proof of the
pudding is in the eating”; the result of the application of
innovating management principles, practices and processes matters, not
its mass-attractivity! The clogged
heart of humanity to be revitalized is the fact that the so far
cultivated knowledge, and the way it is still passed on in the
humanities, is dangerously outdated;
especially since we can amplify inadequate thinking into human
catastrophes globally. The prevailing
thinking catastrophes make its believers blind about the nature of the
way people live and interact, and of the unavoidable laws governing the
consequences. Not even the dimensions of
social impact in which it all takes place are common knowledge.
