The Challenge of Organized ENERGY

smproble.jpg (15839 bytes)In the confusion of the Middle Ages, the truly awakened human spirit could only safely be channeled by observing nature into what has a chance to converge from myth to objectivity. The data thus obtained eventually became the foundations of modern science which opened the door to the possibility of ruling physical energies. With the science of Mechanics, Newton demystified the universe and transformed its understanding, into a "clockwork mechanism". This made the machinery of the industrial age possible. With identifying the relation for which none other than its Creator and its users are responsible, E=Energy equals m=Matter multiplied by the c=Speed of Light, squared; e.g. E = mc2, Einstein thus opened the doors to the use of energies which have immediate global consequences. Since then humanity has "managed" the atomic energies almost to the point of no return from global destruction. More and more people have access to more and more of these energies (in 2001 some of them "had" to be killed in the New War against terrorism). From the point of view of understanding, it becomes obvious that the lives of all of us are actually threatened by this remarkable fact! Speaking realistically, in terms of what we call OKL=orientation knowledge, the Earth can only bear a finite amount of thoughtless use of energy, however, we are in a position to free more energy, (e.g. bombs and pollution), than life on Earth can sustain. The basic OKL in the above Einstein's equation is the speed of light which limits the spreading of what man can propagate to such a degree, that we won't be able to leave our planet for another one when we have raped this one.

We can only get access to our inner resources if we acknowledge all beings and make an honest effort to create synergy between them. We are here to live according to our own, individual inner law. Humanistic psychology triggered the effort to make that inner potential available; however, since laws and relationships are non-tangible, they cannot be consumed or manipulated, and each of us is called to reflect them responsibly without reference to any generalizing form or established general meanings, i.e. denotation and its general usage within established, and therefore basically unreflected language patterns.

We have now reached a point where we have mentioned all the energies available to humans and we have focused on giving those energies their appropriate meaning in the context of life-fulfillment. Through conventional education we have access to cultural energy. Via religion we have access to divine energy; through the physical sciences access to the forces of nature. Having access to those three energies made humans develop on a material, spiritual and cultural level. Today we need to acknowledge that the very multitude and variety of cultural, material and religious energies has, where we lack understanding in their usage, become a threat which calls for far greater development of inner potential to come into play. To do this successfully we need to have a way human beings can have access to that inner human potential with a meaningful orientation knowledge.
